1. Some important considerations.

Cardinal rule - "never breed shy or vicious" --> will reappear for certain.

One of our well known breeders today has a dog, being used, that shall eventually leave an unfortunate cast on his offspring's progeny.

Don't think you've got all the answers or that "it's true for others not for me."

Don't breed just for color. The downfall of many breeders and the cause, to a large degree, of the caricatures we have in the ring today.

The difficulties of finding a really good stud. How you judge your own dogs' producing abilities. Why it is easier to get a good bitch. How difficult it is to find a good stud who can produce a good male dog.

Things you can't give a lovely puppy if he hasn't inherited them. - Kingliness, breed carriage, that certain air.
